A venture or an investment needs an operator, not another observer.
We sit on both sides of the table. Occupancy is the chair inside someone else’s company. Capital is when we put our judgement — and sometimes our money — behind the future of a business.
Most advisory stops at the memo. Most capital stops at the cheque. We do not stop at either. We advise founders who need an operator in the room. We work investment projects that have to be stood up. We manage a small number of private investments that are ours.
Same diagnostic as the rest of the house. Different mandate. Different conversation after the door is named.

Manage
Advise start-ups. The founder knows the outcome and does not yet have a company that can carry it. We write the path, sit in the early operating rhythm, and tell them what not to raise against.
Work investment projects. A deal, a build, a geography, an asset class that needs a mandate — not a spectator on the cap table. An aged care project stood up offshore is this shape of work. So is a project that has capital and no operator.
Manage private investments that are ours. A small book we intend to keep. We do not run a fund, we do not take outside limited partner funding on this page, and we do not publish a logo wall.
